The ancient tactic is to use big government powers to create a crisis, blame it on lack of government oversight and then call for giving the central government even more power. Cesar did it. Hitler did it. Stalin did it. FDR did it to give us the "New Deal." Even Palpatine did it in the Star Wars movies.....Now our Federal Reserve is doing it to us again.
